Drive from route A1, WIEN-SALZBURG
 

A) For guests coming from direction Wien:

You leave the route A1 at kilometer 151 - exit St. Valentin and turn right into direction Mauthausen. After 100 meters you arrive at a "STOP" sign. Cross the B1 and go straight on through Rems further on to Mauthausen. At the intersection (after about 2 km) you have to turn left into direction St. Pantaleon. After another 1,5 km you come to a railway cross, after the railway cross you make a right turn into direction Mauthausen. Then you go straight ahead and cross the Danube.

After having crossed the Danube bridge you turn left into direction Schwertberg. After 4 kilometers you have to turn left again, follow the Aist-river and after 2 kilometers you cross a railway. Go straight on and turn right after 100 meters. After 300 meters you will see a green sign that shows "Aisttal". Follow the road, passing by a gas station on your left and later on by the castle of Schwertberg on your right.

About 3 kilometers after having passed the castle of Schwertberg you will arrive at a yellow factory. Take a right and drive into the factory's parking lot. On the opposite side of the road you can see a yellow building, where you will find the office of Merckens on the ground floor.

B) For guests coming from direction Linz:

You live route A1 at kilometer 160 – exit Asten/St. Florian, turn left into direction Mauthausen and follow the signs to Mauthausen. After about 8 km, at the second traffic circle, you take the third exit into direction Mauthausen/Perg. After another 3,5 km you cross the Danube river.
